The Ryde extension was a project where the clients wanted to bring in more natural light and improve the cross flow ventilation that this house lacked. a higher volume living area was added to the front of the dwelling creating a statement as you walk into the modest dwelling. Highlight windows and roof windows were added to help light get deep into the house and allow for improved ventilation. The rear of the dwelling was altered to allow for more of an open plan environment which created a greater connection to the outdoor areas.
